GGFOA is pleased to welcome Michele Jurkiewicz as the organization's new event coordinator. To this role, she brings a solid background in project management and program coordination.

Since June 2005, Jurkiewicz has worked as a senior event coordinator for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government's State Financial Management Program. She works closely with the program manager, faculty members, consultants, clients, and site staff to ensure the successful facilitation of each training session conducted.

Prior to joining the Vinson Institute, Jurkiewicz worked as a coordinator at the Ford Motor Company plant in Hapeville, Georgia. She has been married for 22 years and has two daughters.
